Distributed team: from working remotely to managing remote teams
WordPress and WooCommerce gives us freedom to work from anywhere on the planet with internet access. As an open source platform, it embodies the true spirit of freedom. As such, you can also use it to gain physical freedom, and work from anywhere you’d like to be.
Big companies like Automattic are already distributed and this trend is growing very quickly. I will be talking about the pros and cons of being a remote employee and managing a remote team from my own experience. I want to share some of our methodology at SAU/CAL to help overcome cons and multiply pros.
